We are located in the Boston blue collar neighborhood of Hyde Park in a facility approximately 2,500sq feet. Since we are inside of a more traditional gym, our members have additional access to all the facilities not commonly associated with CrossFit. such as yoga, zumba and other aerobic classes. Members also have access to all the free weights, a dry sauna and CrossFit Open Gym all day long. CrossFit Together is run and managed by a close team of coaches dedicated to this community.

WHAT IS CROSSFIT?

CrossFit is a universal demonstration of fitness through constantly varied, functional movement, performed at high intensity. By incorporating weightlifting, gymnastics, and a sport in a variety of reps, sets, and times the body is always guessing as the muscles are forced to constantly adapt. This results in maximum fitness results. CrossFit programming is used by many fire depts., law enforcement agencies and military organizations. CrossFit is for men and women of all fitness levels and ages.

Workouts are very intense, demanding all-out physical exertion.

CrossFit workouts combine movements such as: sprinting, rowing, jumping rope, flipping tires, weightlifting, box jumps, climbing rope, carrying heavy objects, bodyweight movement.

These elements are mixed in numerous combinations to form prescribed “Workouts of the Day” or WOD.
